Frequently Asked Questions about the NYC Scholars Program
We’re sure you have many questions about the NYC Scholars Program at Adelphi.
Below are some of the most frequently asked questions we anticipate from students and their families.
There is no food service at the Manhattan Center.
Any Adelphi University undergraduate student who is interested in learning in New York City should participate in this program. Each course includes highly immersive New York City experiences and opportunities for learning.
Adelphi University undergraduate students who have completed at least one semester at our Garden City campus are eligible to participate. Students must also have at least 15 credits in elective courses unused and available prior to starting the NYC Scholars semester.
The NYC Scholars program calendar mirrors Adelphi University’s academic calendar. There will be courses offered in Spring 2018.
Students will have access to all of the support they receive at Adelphi University’s Garden City campus. Those in need of special accommodations should contact the Student Access Office. The Manhattan Center has library and other academic support services on site.
The courses will be available through CLASS for Spring 2018.
There are no additional fees to register for these courses.
